Our mission is to fuel the passion for fitness in our community and inspire participants of every ability level on their journey for optimal health by coaching and educating them with high quality instruction and service in a welcoming atmosphere. We strive to make the desire for a healthier lifestyle a rewarding experience so it is no longer a chore but well-deserved time you devote to yourself each week! We are thrilled to offer Live & Virtual Classes taught by our highly credentialed team so we can stay connected to our biggest fans and begin to rise up and recover from a significant 96 day government mandated closure. The physical distance re-calibration of our group fitness environment has forced us to re-structure our operations and pricing, so until we are able to increase capacity, we will be offering up to 40% off our pay-per-class options until further notice: 1 Class for $10 (1 Month Expiration from Purchase Date) or 6 Classes for $39 (2 Month Expiration from Purchase Date). HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Savings Account) payments will still be accepted.

HERE IS HOW IT WORKS...

  • Sign up for any LIVE or VIRTUAL classes with us in the MINDBODY app or MINDBODY online (go to our website www.thrivegroupfitness.com and select “book a reservation here”). Once you register and pay for the class, you will receive an email/text confirming your registration.

  • For VIRTUAL classes, you will receive an email 5 minutes prior to the scheduled class start time with your workout. You will need to know your MINDBODY password in order to access your virtual class.

  • Thrivers with an account reconciliation credit, make your purchases from MINDBODY Online until all of your credit has been applied, you will be asked at checkout if you want to apply those funds.

  • To ensure the convenience and effectiveness of MINDBODY reservations, clients are responsible for releasing their reservation(s) 2 hours before class start time. Classes cancelled 2 hours prior to the class start time, can be re-booked before the purchase expiration date, otherwise classes are automatically redeemed per late cancel or no show. 

  • After any class with us, please consider writing us a meaningful review to help us increase our online presence... If you use the MINDBODY app, log in, select profile (bottom right), select the 3-dots next to your VIRTUAL class and write a review based on your experience. If you do not use the MINDBODY app, writing us a review on our Yelp, Google, or Facebook business page about why you choose Thrive would be equally appreciated.

 

We have taken the Back to Business Pledge and we want you to know the actions we are taking to adhere to the Best Practices for Businesses to Re-Open for Fitness Facilities provided by the Maryland Department of Health, and continuing to thoroughly sanitize the facility per CDC guidelines, as well as consulting with the Carroll County Health Department to finalize our safety preparations for a community based approach.

 

Preparing the Building

  • A plexiglass protective barrier has been installed at the front desk.

  • We have upgraded our HVAC filtration efficiency from MERV-8 to MERV-10 and increased the outdoor air change rate from 5% to 10% on our ventilation system to allow more fresh air from outside in for improved airflow and quality.

  • Hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes, plus soap and water will still be readily available for everyone.

  • We will continue to deep clean the entire facility daily.

 

Preparing our Team

  • We have prepared our team with COVID-19 training and new fitness facility guidelines.

 

Social Distance Planning

  • Until further notice, everyone should wear masks covering their nose and mouth to enter and exit the facility. Masks will not be worn during fitness classes.

  • Please continue to practice a physical distance of 6 ft. in the lobby or hallway when waiting for your class to begin.

  • Floor markers have been installed to provide more than six feet physical distancing in our studios.

  • 50% reduced capacity for our fitness class will include 9 participants plus the instructor.

  • If you do not get off of a waitlist, please consider enjoying a virtual class with us.

  • Our class schedule will be staggered and time in between each class will be increased to a minimum of 20 minutes to help manage facility traffic.

  • We encourage any high-risk individuals to stay home and continue to enjoy virtual classes with us.

 

Reduce Touch Points

  • Class attendance sign-in will now be contact-less with your instructor.

  • Contact-less registration and payment will remain available in the MINDBODY app and MINDBODY Online.

  • Equipment will be set-up and put away by our team.

  • Bring your own water bottle to refill at our contact-less water cooler or we will still have bottled water for sale - cups at the water cooler will no longer be provided.

  • Bring your own sweat towel or we will still have sweat towels for sale - please do not use our limited supply of paper towels for anything other than for hand washing.

  • For all future yoga classes, please bring your own mat and yoga blocks - we will no longer be able to provide this equipment.

 

Control Access

  • We encourage pre and post class congregating with friends to occur outdoors as much as possible - please avoid gathering near the entrances and exits.

  • Please enter the facility no more than 10 minutes prior to your class start time.

  • We have a new one way traffic flow to enter through the front door and exit from the studio your class is scheduled in.

  • For a continued safe, courteous, and friendly Thrive experience there will be no "seat saving" and we ask that you enter the main studio, filling the room from left to right and when you enter the annex, filling the back of the room to the front.

  • Spin classes will now take place in the Annex.

 

Increase Cleaning

  • We will continue to disinfect common areas regularly especially high-touch surfaces.

  • We will be disinfecting equipment before and after each use.

  • We will be disinfecting the water cooler and bathrooms before and after each class.

  • We will be using disinfecting room spray throughout the facility multiples times per day.

 

Communication Procedures

  • We ask everyone to be socially responsible and regularly self-screen for COVID-19 prior to visiting Thrive. It is critical that you seek medical attention and stay at home if you are exhibiting symptoms, or have been in contact with anyone in the last 14 days who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or has coronavirus-type symptoms.

  • If you have had a fever in the last 24 hours of 100°F or above, you must cancel your class reservation and must be fever free for 72 hours before returning to the facility.

  • Signage with CDC guidelines posted.

  • Regular team communications to discuss and clarify protocols.
